Join us for Camp Grasshopper, our summer series of events designed to put you in touch with your inner summer camp kid, in all their joyfulness and creativity! Each event will feature a workshop or activity led by a Grasshopper staff member, plus an exclusive partnership with a downtown Stoughton bar or restaurant to bring you snacks, drinks, and discounts to grab more food after the event!

First up, Jordan will lead us through a workshop on the art of embroidery. She's designed five kits that will help you tap into those retro summer camp/outdoorsy vibes we'll be channeling all season long.

Speaking of summer camp, we've partnered with our neighbor, Dairyland Dessert Cafe, to bring you handcrafted S'mores (gluten free/vegan) and key lime (not GF/vegan) mini pies! Enjoy these delicious bites at Grasshopper, then head down the street to Dairyland following the event for 50% off any one beverage!

Your ticket purchase includes:
- In-person embroidery instruction by Jordan on beginning your project and how to finish it at home
- A kit containing everything you need to make your work of art: fabric, thread, hoop, needle, and the embroidery pattern
- S'mores and key lime mini pies from Dairyland Dessert Cafe and wine/soda/fizzy water
- A coupon for 20% off your purchase at Grasshopper Goods (August 2 only)
- A coupon for 50% off a drink at Dairyland Dessert Cafe following the event

Class suitable for ages 10+ (parental discretion advised, sewing needles present)

About Jordan:

Jordan found embroidery when many people connected with arts and crafts, during the initial pandemic lockdown. Through self-teaching and hours of practice, she eventually sold her art here at Grasshopper Goods. Soon enough, she became GG's first employee! Jordan is home for the summer from her studies at University of Minnesota-Duluth.
