With our variety of baking mixes including: Chocolate Glazed Doughnuts, Garlic Herb Focaccia, and Soft Pretzels, they’ll get a one-of-a-kind baking experience. For the donut mix we even have a special pan to make sure that your sweet treat is superb.

Our Basil and Mint grow kits allow for the foodie in your life to grow their own garnish. And our selection of PS Seasonings will help to add zest to any meal. We also carry Ann in a Jam, which are locally made, uniquely flavored jams to add to your cabinet.

 

Help them plan their next great meal with one of our awesome meal planners. Offered in a variety of options, these planners are sure to make meal prep a breeze.

A decked out kitchen is a must for a foodie, so why not help them add some fun touches to the place they spend the most? Our Ceramic Morel and Leaf spoon rest are sure to put a smile on their face the next time they cook.      Spring and Summer is a time to set aside time to relax and refresh yourself. Whether that be through cleaning, creating new goals for yourself, and just trying to find new ways to improve your life, we all “refresh” in our own unique way.

     Here at Grasshopper Goods, we’ve decided that our own personal form of refreshing is refreshing the store and our brand. We’re still the same shop that you know and love, but we’ve added some elements to help improve your experience in the shop.

Around the Shop:

     Right when you walk in, you’ll notice our brand new signage behind the register. This amazing sign was made by the awesome people at Cedar & Spice. It includes our signature front, and adorable grasshopper. We’ve also added a pop of color to the front of the register area, with a fun green wrap, also from Cedar & Spice! This is just the beginning and we are excited for new surprises and additions this summer.

     For your convenience, we’ve added new ways to have more products on the floor than ever before. When you walk into the shop, you’ll notice some pretty neat pegboards. The addition of these to the shop is great for displaying our latest fresh finds. We’re always changing what’s on there, so feel free to stop in as much as you’d like.

 

     Finally, we got some new rugs around the shop. Although it may not be super noticeable when you first walk in, we wanted to add more cohesiveness to the shop.

The GG Brand:

     In case you haven’t heard, we launched our own line of t-shirts! We designed three awesome tees that help to represent the GG brand and our values. Each are unique in their own way and all hold a special place in our heart. When we opened GG back in 2017, we had no idea that the shop would grow into what it is today, and that we’d be able to have products exclusively for our shop, t-shirts are just the beginning.

Since its inception in 2017, Grasshopper Goods mobile boutique, a 1977 Chevy step van, was built on the desire to deliver joy from street fairs to festivals. Whenever folks would hop on into the truck they often would exclaim how happy it made them. That feeling continues in the storefront, we now call home in Stoughton, WI.

• Neighborly T-Shirt – Inspired by Grasshopper Goods' move from mobile boutique to brick-and-mortar storefront in Stoughton, WI, where we've been treated in the most neighborly way right from the very start! We hope we can all work to inspire neighborly love near and far.

• Take The Leap T-Shirt – Inspired by the original idea to start the first mobile boutique in Wisconsin and all the leaps in between that got us to designing our own t-shirts! We hope this shirt moves us all in big ways and small to take the leap, if its just getting out of your comfort zone, going back to school or starting your own business. We are here to cheer you on!

     We just want to thank you for all the love and support that we’ve received from the GG community. We wouldn’t be where we are without all of you, and we promise to be a fun, fresh, and authentic brand.

When Grasshopper Goods started in 2017 out of Vinny, we had no clue exactly what the brand could grow into. We just took it one hop at a time, and it eventually led us to the lovely town of Stoughton by opening a brick and mortar, and now we’re hopping into our next adventure – our very own line of t-shirts!

It’s official… The truck that started it all is retiring! As the Grasshopper Goods brand has continued to expand, the time has come to say goodbye to Vinny as we focus our attention on our shop in Stoughton.

But wow is this a bittersweet decision and moment in the Grasshopper Goods journey. The memories and people we have met over the years in the truck will be forever cherished. Vinny is magic! As I’ve reflected on the past six years with Vinny, I wanted to share some lessons I’ve learned that have helped shape me as a business owner and human.

Taking the leap!

The Vinny journey wouldn’t have been possible if I hadn’t just taken the leap and gone for it! Did I have everything figured out? Nope. But I took little steps forward until my dream of Grasshopper Goods became reality. He really taught me the importance of pursuing your dreams… but also that dreams change and evolve. The GG idea has been many versions of itself before the mobile boutique was launched. Giving yourself space to dream, reflect, evolve, and change is when the magic really happens and is never ending. 

Shit happens.

Because guess what, sometimes it’s going to be hard and you have to muscle through… and sometimes you have to just let it go. This is life! If we hadn’t had struggles with certain parts of building the Grasshopper Goods business, we wouldn’t be where we are today. Every single road block required us to think differently… and even bigger at times! Where we could vend and how we could vend was a BIG road block but ultimately, it helped us spread the word and built our community all over the state and beyond. 

People are amazing.

This was a big one for me… there are so many moments and stories I want to share. Vinny showed us just how amazing people are and can be. It truly humbles me to reflect on people we met in the truck, people we’ve collaborated with, people we met within the vendor community; people are just incredible. 

We wouldn’t be where we are today without the community that supported and believed in our vision; their enthusiasm, their excitement, their curiosity, and their openness to our vulnerability. We started as an outlier! But our community was right there behind us, every step of the way. Our GG community taught me the importance of supporting others, especially when they are at their most vulnerable.

Surround yourself with helpers and allow others gifts to shine.

You can’t do it all on your own! Vinny and starting the truck made me realize the importance of delegating so you have space to think about your brand. Without delegation, your business can’t evolve! Being a leader is about helping your team affirm and elevate their strengths. Building a community and team around your hopes and dreams for the business… both in and outside of the brand.

Be true and honest to yourself.

Follow your own gifts and strengths! Nurturing your gifts ensures you are building a life and business that is aligned with you. Of course, there are going to be tasks you may not enjoy or aren’t the best at in your business… but that’s where you can delegate! Delegating parts of your business that aren’t your strength or you don’t enjoy to people out there whose strengths are your own weaknesses helps keep moving things forward; You can’t be good at everything!

Also, make sure you are taking care of yourself; mind, body, and soul. Finding happiness and joy outside of your business is essential in living a successful life. You want your business to add to your life… and not be your sole identity. 

Vinny is magic and got the Grasshopper Goods brand to where we are today. However, it is time for someone else to feel and benefit from his magic.
